Seamless Transactions with SAP Ariba Network NetCO and GDC suppliers are targeted to start the transition to SAP Ariba by mid-August. Meanwhile, a subset of suppliers in the Asia-Pacific region just recently started the shift to SAP Ariba on 27 July. Those based in the rest of North America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa made the transition this year in May. This move to SAP Ariba first launched for suppliers in the U.S.A. and Google’s existing and new relationships through improved communication methods. This change in its supplier management process aims to simplify business transactions and further strengthen Alphabet Inc. SAP CEO Christian Klein also noted this new business win in his opening remarks for the global ERP company’s 2nd Quarter earnings call for the period ending 30 June 2020.Īccording to Google, the transition to SAP Ariba Network is happening in multiple waves with a go-live target date of 24 August 2020.
The transition requires all of the American multinational technology company’s and its parent company Alphabet Inc.’s suppliers to register and create an SAP Ariba Network account. Google announces transition to SAP Ariba’s source-to-pay cloud-based technology solution.
